I have been looking at the Frizzells for quite a while and wondered if any of the Sawyer descendants migrated to areas around Pasquotank. Some of the same names appear in documents, especially headrights, as you sited in the will of Frizzell. A John and Robert Sawyer received headrights for exactly the people mentioned in this Will.............I believe 1690s. There was also a Thomas Sawyer early in Pasquotank area. Those mentioned before or early 1700 were John, Thomas, Henry and William. Could there be a connection? N. C.
