    3. Hi I am looking for information regarding Nicholas Dixon. He was born about 1797. The Dixon must have left here as Nicholas married in North Carolina and then went/came to Georgia. He married Sarah Hickman in Edgecombe NC. I can find no information about his parents, how they got to VA, nor who they are. Any help would be appreciated. 3. Hi Elizabeth, I'm researching Henry BAKER, b. 1632; d. 1712, IoW, VA. Henry's children were: (Col) HENRY, b. c1687; d. 1739, Chowan Co., NC; JAMES, b. 1689-1700; d. ? ; LAWRENCE; WILLIAM; MARY; SARAH; CATHERINE; and ELIZABETH BAKER, d. before 1734. I've been concentrating on Henry Baker (Jr), so I don't have any additional information on James Baker. I, too, would like to know whether Henry's son James was the Co. Clerk. My line moved to MS in the mid 1800's. Does anyone know how they got from Isle of Wight, VA to MS? We think they went from Va to TN to MS, but do not have a complete genealogy to prove it. Thanks, Sandy
