    1. [VAISLEOF-L] Brunswick, Surry, Suxxes, Isle of Wight
    2. Please keep in mind folks that Isle of Wight County was split up a bit over the years. I have found records for families I am researching with some records in IOW, some in Surry, some in Sussex and some in Brunswick Co.'s. For me the Three Creek and Nottoway River area was important -- it was once all in IOW but ended up in Brunswick and Surry. One place to find out of print information is TLC genealogy -- www.tlcgenealogy.com. I have not purchased anything from them yet but have seen a reconstructed census of 1740 VA that they put together at our library's genealogy dept. -- very good source of info. I am no way affiliated with TLC - just a user of their information. good hunting, jeannie

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/ZBC.2ACI/741.2.1 Message Board Post: Betty, please give me some first names. There are indeed Jones and Harris surnames on my property lists in Maryland. However, in order for me to check for wills in Maryland or at the Archives of Maryland, first names and a time frame would be very helpful. These last names retrieve way too many court cases. So if you could narrow it down. Also, write me directly and I will send you the short land survey list with Harris and Jones surnames. Julia Seymour e mail at mu8duck@aol.com
