Blank*****April 7, 2002***** PERRINE VAIL GAY ZEBULON -- Perrine Vail "Henry" Gay, 68, of 2103 Herbert Drive, died Thursday at her residence. She was born in Wayne County on December 11, 1933 to the late Willie Pervis Vail and Margaret Scott Vail. She graduated from Pikeville High School in 1952 and had recently celebrated her 50th high school reunion. She retired from N.C. State Government as an Administrative Assistant with the Department of Administration. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. W.C. Barham officiating. Burial will be in Zebulon Town Cemetery. She is survived by sisters, Ruth V. Williams and Marie V. Rowe, both of Pikeville, along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Paul Gay, on December 21, 1994; her sisters, Gladys V. Goff, Ella V. Rich and Winona V.
