BlankElla V. Rich Nov. 13, 1923 Jan. 24, 2001 GOLDSBORO — Ella Vail Rich, 77, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery. Surviving are one daughter, Bessie Tyndall of Pikeville; three sisters, Ruth V. Williams and Marie V. Rowe, both of Pikeville and Perrine V. Gay of Zebulon; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home from 7-9 tonight and at other times at the home Bessie and J.D.
