Hello list! Does anyone have any information regarding the marriage of John S. Walter's daughter Mary to George Duncan? The Walters family was originally from England, but I see them in the census here before the Civil War. George Duncan was born in Scotland, but I have not seen him on the census until after the war, but I think they must have married in or around Richmond, since it was the bride's place of residence. I do not know to what church they belonged, since this branch later married into the Baptists, who then prevailed. Thank you so much, Jaime
