I know nothing of the Rhodes family. However, my Great Uncle Alfred C. Thompson of Richmond, Virginia was the Vice President of Miller and Rhodes company of Richmond , VA. According to the Virginia Securities Commision that Company went out of business about 15 years ago. I do know that Miller and Rodes was the Largest funiture Store chain East of the Mississippi River in the 1950s. You might try sending an E-mail to the Virginia Historical Society.
