I was just wondering if you knew which John Chitwood was mentioned in the will of Thomas Lockett? Was it William Cheatwood's son, John, or William Cheatwood's brother, John? It would appear to be his brother, John Chitwood, with the name spelled that way. Another question: is Winney Lockett Gideon Lockett's daughter? Could you please name your source for Winney marrying Daniel? While I'm at it do you have any idea why William Cheatwood's will was drawn up in 1781, but not proven until 1787?
