Hi Edith, I know they have the old death records from 1853-1896. Virginia did not keep any death records from 1897-1912. If they do have some somewhere from 1897-1906 I would like to see them too. I thought Steve meant certificates for some reason I am sorry I made a mistake I was trying to help. I was just referring to the death certificates so many people are interested in. At the library those are very popular. And to let people know what years they had records of deaths for. Since I already got a letter saying I gave to much information on the years and all, sorry about that too. I was just trying to clarify years and what is available. >From now on I won't say a thing.
