Hi Edith, Steve & all, No the Library of Virginia(LVA) does not lend out the death certificates on microfilms. I go to LVA once a week for many years now and also volunteer in the films section once a month. And the head of interlibrary loan told me they do not lend them out. I douibt the LDS library has them as LVA said they were lucky to get the ones they did. The ones they have came from carbons at the vital records office. So as I said before only the Library of Va. and the vital records office at Willow Lawn have them. Beth, I went to familysearch.org and did a place name search for Virginia. They do have microfilm of Virginia deaths from 1853 to 1906. Steve didn't say which ones he was looking for.
