    1. [VAHENRIC] David STERNE - Civil War burial where?

Greetings: Looking for burial place confirmation of one David STERNE who we believe died at a hospital 02 July 1862 Richmond, VA after receiving wounds from the battle at Gaines Mill VA - Henrico County. His father named Francis STERNE was in the same unit his son David STERNE may be one of the many buried Oakwood Cemetery at the beginning of the war. Would be pleased to have confirmation on his burial if possible. The following lists the details: David Sterne   Residence: Caroline County, Virginia Occupation:    Service Record: Enlisted as a Private on 21 June 1861 at the age of 18 Enlisted in Company E, 47th Infantry Regiment Virginia on 21 June 1861 Wounded on 27 June 1862 at Gaines' Mill, VA Absent for sickness on 30 June 1862 at Died of wounds on 02 July 1862    Sources:  The Virginia Regimental Histories Series.
