In Colonial Wills of Virginia, Pt. 2, the year given for William Taylor's inventory is 1754. David was old enough to choose his guardian (James Woodfin) at the May Court in 1755, so I think he would be too old to be the David you're looking for in the 1850's. Do you have any other information on this family? Marlene
