    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: THEAL Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/WBC.2ACI/2444 Message Board Post: I am looking for info on this orphan's home. My great-grandfather Henry W. THEAL moved to VA after 1920, and is in the 1930 census living in Richmond with his second wife. A daughter who was 4 in the 1920 census, may be the 14 year old Lenora THEAL listed in the Memorial Home for Girls in Richmond in 1930. I feel certain this is my grandmother's sister, but am confused as to why she is living in this home for girls? Was this an orphanage and/or a place to send "wayward" girls? Where would the records be kept for this facility? Does anyone know the history on this home?
