The point I was attempting to make was that some natives were members of the Episcopalian Church. There was an edict passed that stated Natives were to be converted to Christianity. The other point I was making is that my ancestors who were Mulatto, were members of the Episcopalian Church. I at no time stated that all Natives were Christians, or encouraged to be.
