The whitlows were in henrico and halifax counties fron 1700 to around 1850, and in 1819 Nicholas Whitlow (b7-13-1754 HENRICO CO D 1837) used Mosely as the middle name for his son and it remained a tradition with this particular branch through the next 4 generations.
