    3. My father and his siblings were all born and raised there, I wasn't, but I visited my grandmother there many times when I was very young. The name was Grotz. He was called "Johnny". Did you know any Grotzes there? Cliff, Hinton, Alfred, John (my father), and sisters Frances and Henrietta. His mother died in 1955, she lived on S. Laurel Street, she was the last of the family to live there. They might be a bit before your time, they were all born in the 19-teens. 3. I am looking for descendants of Henry Anderson who was born about 1688. In August of 1706 he married Prudence Stratton of Henrico County, Virginia. In 1717 Henry purchased his first land, 500 acres in Henrico County on the North side of Appomattox River. Henry was Justice of the Peace for Henrico County in 1719 and Sheriff in 1729. Apparently Henry also helped William Byrd supervise his overseers. Any help will be very much appreciated. Paul Anderson pka@optilink.us
