Looking for any information on Ligon ancesters in Henrico County. Thanks, Mike Ligon
Hi cousin Linda & Mary, There are no Virginia birth records before 1853. A few counties had some of their own records. There are marriage bonds not records of Va. marriages going back to the 1600's though. I have seen books of Quaker meetings going back many years. But I am not sure what birth records there are for Quakers in Virginia. Ophelia is another name for Phebe. Have you thought of that? Hello, It may be a long shot, but Blankenship could be German. If you go to www.germanna.org and the Germanna roots list, they have enormous amounts on the Germanna families and might be able to help you.
