    1. [VAHENRIC] Biological parents of Thelma Redford...?
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/WBC.2ACI/2372 Message Board Post: I am searching for the biological parents of my grandmother-inlaw, the former Miss Thelma Redford. Thelma was born in 1929 in Henrico County, Richmond, VA. She was later adopted by Edward Littleton Redford and his wife, Lillian Lowery Redford, both of Richmond. In all documents Thelma indicates that her parents were Edward L. and Lillian Lowery Redford. Documents such as application for Social Security card, death certificates give this information just spoken of. Even the obituaries for Edward and Lillian indicate that Thelma was their daughter...so does the obituaries for Lillian Redford's parents...Thelma is listed as granddaughter. When I started contacting family members, though, they denied kin to Thelma and said that she was adopted and was no part of their family. Is anyone out there that might know something to clear this up for me? I would certainly appreciate all help or leads to finding the answer to this mystery....

I used to live at 2000 Park Ave, this area of Richmond is called "The Fan". Named this because the streets 'fan' out from one central street, and that is Park Ave. As the streets fan out there are small triangal parks bounded by the streets. The block you refer to is between Lombardy St. and Vine St.(Vine dead ends at Park). These houses were all built at the turn of the century.
