Mary Ann, The zip code 23075 is for Highland Springs, a community in Henrico County northeast of Richmond, Va. One suggestion is to contact the Richmond Times-Dispatch for an obituary. They have the archives for both the Times-Dispatch and the Richmond News Leader (aft. paper) which closed a few years ago. If you check their web site you can find out the ordering info and the cost. www.timesdispatch.com You can also check their archives online for after 1985 for a fee or order the newspapers on microfilm through interlibrary loan or at your local Family History center. On Rt 1 (old Brook Turnpike, now Brook Rd), about a half mile north of Parham Rd., Telegraph Rd bears off to the northeast (the old road to Washington DC). Mountain Road bears off to the northwest (the old road to Charlottesville). The area where these two roads diverge from Rt 1 was called Soloman's Store. The yellow tavern was about a half mile up Mountain Road from Rt 1. It is probably a mile from there to the place where JEB Stuart was mortally wounded. That spot is at the northeast junction of I-295 and Rt.1. It was on Telegraph Rd, But when I 295 was put through, Telegraph Rd. was bisected.
