He went by the name Beadles. He & Annie had 6 children - Lee B. West, Edith T. West, Lola M. West, Annie M. West, Sadie J. West, & Lola West. His wife, Annie, was the daughter of Eugenia A. Stanley (b. 5/22/1850, d. 3/30/1951). I'm still trying to find where Eugenia fits into the Stanley family; she doesn't seem to have ever been married but had 11 children - no record of a father can be found for any of them and she's always listed as single on the census records. Annie's sister, Ambler Lillian Stanley (married William Franklin Stanley, son of Timothy Thomas Stanley & Isabella Ann Jones) is my husband's step-grandmother. Beadles & Annie are both buried in the Hopeful Baptist Church Cemetery in Bumpuss.
