Haley (Hailey) was my great great grandmother. His daughter Mary Francis Vass was my great grandmother. She is buried with her husband, Charles Coleman Taylor, and her daughter Lottie Adelle Taylor, son Charles James Taylor in the Woodland Cemetery in Ashland. Her brother Joseph Vass is buried a few yards away. Also buried in Woodland Cemetery are Mary Francis Vass Taylor's son John Henry Taylor. Other grandchildren are buried in Woodland Cemetery and in the Episcopal Church Cemetery with more of the Vasses at Brook Rd & Rt. 95. The Vass family and the Taylor family all served together during the War of Northern Aggression in the same companies. If I can help you with any further information please contact me.
