Carol, I research the Alsup/Alsop family. Joseph Alsup (circa 1690-1788) married Agnes Pulliam. Joseph lived in what is now considered Hanover County. William Alsup Jr was his father. The land where Slash Church stands was owned by William. There is a historical marker near the church honoring Slash Church and William Alsup. My question is - have your run across Agnes Pulliams name or do you have any info on her? I am at a dead end trying to locate info on Agnes. Thank you. Pat Alsup Hardman ( patty_jean@comcast.net)
