John, I was wondering if you would mind checking your book for Medlock/Menlock/Matlocks? they were there early.. the Medlock/Matlocks were in New Kent Co until the boundary lines changed, then by 1708 I believe is the first record I have of them in Hanover Co... Thanks Brenda

Brenda, I find no mention of the names Medlock, Menlock, or Matlock in Mrs. Gregory's book. Sorry.
