I show he was born approx 1797 St Pauls Parish, Hanover County, Virginia. Married to Elizabeth Wade. I am trying to link him to a James Mantlo supposedly from Ireland. I am no expert on this family but I think they link into mine some. Look at Black Creek Baptist Church area of Hanover and in the Book Men of Matadequin if you have not already.
