The administrator at The Virginia Genealogical Society forwarded my E-mail message to June Banks Evans. We have since exchanged a number of E-mails. In her last one she described in detail the damage done to her home in New Orleans. As a consequence of her books being stored in a safe place, they were not ruined. She feels fortunate that she has a second residence in Virginia she and her husband built years ago. I asked her permission to post her postal and E-mail addresses to the Hanover List.
