I have heard my Dad speak of "Gauldins" or "Goldens" which was near Negrofoot (Beaverdam-Montpelier). I will look on the map and see if there is still such a place. Do you know where the Crumps lived- any name for the house they lived? That area is farmland and many of the old farms had names. I'll be glad to help you in your search any way I can.
