    1. [VAHANOVE] grave marking ceremony in Hanover Co.
    2. I'm passing this info on for a friend of mine who thought those on the Hanover County list might be interested. Sheri Millikin The Richmond Chapter, SAR will be participating in a grave marking ceremony on June 22nd at 3:00 PM at Beaver Dam Farm for Revolutionary War Compatriot Col. William Fontaine of Hanover County. The Cemetery is approximately 0.8 mi. west of intersection of Beaver Dam and Tyler Station Roads on Tyler Station Road. The cemetery is a ways down the lane to the farm house and cemetery. The lane, which is on the right, is maked with a black mailbox with a steer head and "Beaver Dam Farm". The house is a private rental property and is not the same house there during the time of Edmund Fontaine and Jeb Stuart when he kissed Flora goodbye for the last time. I believe the SAR member and descendent is from the John Champe Chapter. The SAR, DAR and the Fontaine Society will be participating.

    3. While you are there could someone maybe take some pictures? I am never going to make it back to Virginia but the places were very familiar to our ancestor Napoleon PERRIN, who rode with Jeb Stuart, and I would love to see a picture from there! Please, and thank you! ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, June 17, 2002 4:20 PM Subject: [VAHANOVE] grave marking ceremony in Hanover Co. > I'm passing this info on for a friend of mine who thought those on the > Hanover County list might be interested. > Sheri Millikin > > The Richmond Chapter, SAR will be participating in a grave marking ceremony > on June 22nd at 3:00 PM at Beaver Dam Farm for Revolutionary War Compatriot > Col.
