Hi fred Walnut Lane farm-Cold Harbor Rd-by 1782,John Austin was paying taxes on800 acres,By 1801-1452 Acres.In a deposition- 1807,he says he was 80 years old on 9-14-1806-He died-12-15-1815.He giveshis grandson-William Smith Austin(1788-1866)land bought from Philip & William White.This early deed was readmitted March 1806..the 1st was destroyed.William Smith mar Nancy Winn-c1811-(1794-1849)-d/o John Winn.They are buried at Walnut lane.A daughter of William Smith Austin was Sarah T. Austin Snydor(wife of William B.Snydor) of Meadow Farm also located on Cold Harbor Rd next door to Walnut Lane Hugh Campbell purchased Glencairn farm in1843. Located on the Newfound river,Campbell also owned The Grove farm located southside of ceder Creek near Montpelier.Hugh left property to William Hugh Campbell and his sisters-Harriett,Fanny,Maude,and Virginia.Will dated 1866. There is a farm called Campbell's bought by William H.B.
