    1. Re: [VAHANOVE] Cemetery possession
    2. I guess the key word here is "if". Somehow, the counties are getting around those plats/documents, not only in VA, but also in KY. Would be interesting to learn how the counties/developers are doing that... ~Virginia [email protected] wrote: << If the cemetery is noted as such on tax plats/documents, then no taxes are paid on that portion of the property. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, April 07, 2002 2:03 PM Subject: Re: [VAHANOVE] Cemetery possession > But someone has to pay the property taxes on it. 1. Re: [VAHANOVE] Cemetery possession
    2. In VA, what is considered a "complete" title search, only goes back 60 years.....for older properties...they stayed within one family for that length of time & rather than going back "as far as possible" with written/recorded info, they simply go on the word of the title search. If no one speaks up...they win. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, April 07, 2002 3:27 PM Subject: Re: [VAHANOVE] Cemetery possession > I guess the key word here is "if".
