Alyce, There is a mention of a Frederick Tiler in the book titled, "Some Wills from the Burned Counties of Virginia" which mentions only on page 109 under the listing for Thomas Winston Hano-St.Paul __ Nov 1783/3 Feb 1785 Brother John Winston a mare bought of Ralph Crutchfield. Nephew Bobby Winston land adjoining Frederick Tiler. There are several Tiller's listed in the 1850 Hanover Co U.S. Census. Let me know if you need/want this info. Karyn, The only info I've found is in the Index 1810 Virginia Census, listed in Hanover, there was a John Askue listed as Head of Household. In the 1850 Hanover County, VA 1850 U.S. Census there is the following info: Enumeration 24 Oct 1850- Family Number 529-page 79 Alfred Askew 22 M Overseer living with Paulina Simms (40F), James A.
