Her mothers name was Betty or Bettie Lax of Clover, Virginia. Her father was Willie or Willy Coleman. Marion married Eugene Paul Goodall of Orange County, Halifax Virginia and raised 10 children in Washington, D.C. Eugene was in the army. Marion was raised in Clover, Virginia, born in December of 1916. Marion's siblings include Bruce, Willie, Billy(William), Waverly, Betty and Lottie.
