Hi everyone, My hubby and I are planning to take a trip to VA sometime in June and I'm trying to get a handle on where I'd look for county records in each of the counties I'm interested in. I know there are archives in Richmond, but I'm wondering about the individual counties themselves. Also, does anyone have any suggestions as to reasonably rated motels, 'specially good eating places, etc.?? I sure would appreciate any help. The counties I am particularly interested in are: Charlotte Halifax Lunenburg Isle of Wight Mecklenburg Southampton I'll be sending this to all these counties so please overlook if you get doubles of this message.
