It's now out of print but available in some libraries. I hope to see it for the first time today. I will see if it mentions Eli and Ella. I am searching for information on Robert McGehee, whose wife was named Carolyn. They lived in Granville County and were probably born around the 1830s. One of their children was named Isabella, who ws my gr-gr-grandmother. Would greatly appreciate any information.
