Historical Index by E.G. Swem, there is reference to a marriage of WILLIAM AARON SAUNDERS and JOAN BAILEY in the early 1750s-1780s, reportedly was found in Halifax County - which may have been part of Nc at the time. Has anyone seen this or have a copy of the Index? In addition, NIMROD SAUNDERS (SANDERS?) married a MARY ELIZABETH RICKETTS, which may also be in the same record book or source book.I am researching these lines and would appreciate any help if they are not directly in your database.
