Pittsylvania Co., VA, daughter of George and Bettie Childress, married Luther H. HAMLETT, b. Charlotte Co., Va, son of W. T. & Ella F. Hamlett. She was 18 yrs old. The ceremony was performed in the home of her parents by Jesse Reeves, minister of the Baptist church. I am unable to find birth or death records but estimate the year as 1885 - 1915. They had 5 children the youngest of which was born 1914 and was about a year old when Maggie died. Would greatly appreciate any clues to finding more information.
