Thanks! >> ----------Larry, Tobacco was a substitute for cash money, and was sold-valued by the pound. The leaves of the plant were the most valuable, but adding stalks, roots, oak leaves, etc could boost the weight. An inspector certified the tobacco was all leaves of an acceptable grade. Charles
