Ferguson and he married Kate Bouldin Chaney. They lived in Halifax County all their married life. My grandfather was born and raised in Pittsylvania County near Danville, Virginia. His father was James Franklin Ferguson and mother was Emma ??. He had brothers named Charlie, Willie, Henry, Abner, Earnest and sisters named Sally, Irene, Odelle and Celesta.
