Col. Robert Wooding was my +grandfather. He was married to Mary Marable. We have located him in Lunenburg Co. prior to that and Pittslyvania later. The legend is that he and his brother John were kidnapped in England and brought to America. His daughter Martha married James Chappell,my ancestor and they left Va.
