Hi I'm looking for info on an Elizabeth Guthrie/Guthrey who married Richard Elder in Halifax in the year 1850. They appear on the 1850 Census for Halifax County. In 1860 they are in Campbell County. Richard was born in Campbell County and returned there sometime between his marriage to Elizabeth and the 1860 census. All of my direct line ancestors back to Richard and Elizabeth remained in Campbell County until the 1930's. I live in California, so going to Halifax County for a look-up would be a little difficult for me, so if someone has info on this particular Elizabeth, or could do a marriage look-up for me it would be very much appreciated. I am trying to find the name of a parent or sibling or other family tie to continue my research. Thanks to anyone with help or advice on where to go.
