Laffoon is the last name of Sophia "Fina" Funk's 1st husband, James Alfred Laffoon. They had a son named Stephen Dennis Laffoon. You will find Sophina, her son Stephen Lafoon with her current husband, Lewis Lee Whitaker, in the 1870 Grayson County Census.
