Aby Swindle married William Andrews, Jr. and was buried at the RECTOR farm in Ashe Co., NC. Aby Swindle b. 1793 d. 1871 and was married in Ashe Co., NC Dec. 22, 1832. her father in law is William Andrews, Sr. is buried near the Haws River, NC on his old homestead. This area is commonly called THE NEW RIVER VALLEY. My ancestors are from there. I descend from John Swindle , Jr. b. 7-17-1779 Madison Co., VA died 12/29/1853 Grayson Co. VA. He lived most of his life in Ashe Co., NC but died at his daughters home in nearby Grayson Co., VA. John Swindle, Jr. had a daughter Ruth Swindle who married James S. Rector.
