:The Virginian-Pilot; :Feb 4, 2007; :Hampton Roads; :26 Thomas H. Osborne CHESAPEAKE - Thomas Howard Osborne, 72, passed away Feb. 2, 2007. Born in West Virginia, he was the son of the late Harry W. and Vicy Woody Osborne. He was a retired coal miner. Mr. Osborne is survived by the mother of his children, Betty Stallings; his sons, Douglas H. Osborne and wife Leslie of Moyock, N.C., and Bobby W. Osborne of Chesapeake; five daughters, Barbara J. Loper and husband Terry, Debbie L. Osborne, Shelia K. Osborne and Angela S. Harper and husband Darryl, all of Chesapeake, and Kathy Cyree of Norfolk; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Bernice Mullins of Bassett, Va. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Colonial Grove Memorial Park with Pastor Vick Culberson officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake.
