The Virginian-Pilot; :Feb 10, 2007; :Hampton Roads; :24 Carrie E. Eads SUFFOLK - Carrie Estelle Eads, 85, of the 4100 block of Pughsville Road, died Feb. 8, 2007. She was a native of Pulaski, Va. Survivors include her husband, Herbert Eads; two sons, Gary G. Ayers of Brevard, N.C., and Gail G. Ayers of Gates, N.C.; one sister, Katie Cook of Roanoke, Va.; one brother, Robert Rupe of Portsmouth; six grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in Meadowbrook Mausoleum Chapel by the Rev. T.M. Frye.
