Byrne NORFOLK - Pauline Jane Byrne, 77, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, of the 9400 block of Sturgis St., passed away Feb. 1, 2007, at her home. Born in Glasgow, Va., Mrs. Byrne is survived by her husband of more than 50 years, James M. Byrne; three daughters, Elizabeth Hollifield, Jackie Basnight and husband Paul Flick and Kathy Basnight, all of Norfolk; two sons, James M. Byrne Jr. and wife Leslie and John Byrne, all of Norfolk; a sister, Nancy Davis; and brother Duval Davis, both of Lynchburg; cousins, Woody and Eva Campbell of Lynchburg; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Rosewood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel.
