I have a James Charles Thomas in my files, s/o Raymond (Charles Raymond) Thomas b. abt. 1910 d. 1976 and Eula Wright, and I'm wondering if this is the correct family. Sue Dotson [email protected] Joseph Thomas, 66 Joseph Thomas, 66, of Laurel Fork, died Saturday, July 26, 2003, at Heritage Hall - Laurel Meadows Nursing Home, Laurel Fork. He was preceded in death by his parents, James C. and Maudie Thomas; and brothers, Vernon Thomas, Roby Thomas and James June Thomas. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Louise Thomas of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Jeff Hill of Fancy Gap; a son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Renee Thomas of Mount Airy, N.C.; two sisters-in-law, Lucy Thomas of Stuart and Rachel Thomas of Hillsville; and five grandchildren; Melissa Thomas, Lynette Thomas and Rebecca Thomas, all of Mount Airy, N.C., and Brooke Hill and Seth Hill, both of Fancy Gap. A funeral was held Monday at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Home with burial in the Pine View Cemetery. The Rev. Harold Fenstermaker officiated.
