    3. Okay, I have been to a specific cemetery numerous times. This is what I've always considered our "family" cemetery. I have pictures of every single headstone in the cemetery. the first people to have been buried there were apparently Lewises. And I THOUGHT that I had read SOMEWHERE that it was called the Lewis Cemetery (for some reason, I was even thinking that I had read that specifically in conjunction with the burial of my great-great-great-grandfather, William Mathias Little, there -- Mathias fought in the Civil War, in Co. B of the 65th NC State Troops. I don't see a Lewis Cemetery listed in the Grayson County Cemetery Listings Index, but my grandfather says that it is actually in Virginia, not in North Carolina. Now, we all know that the people who lived on that VA/NC line have always had problems determining where one side ends and another one begins -- and I get confused about it all the time myself, so I certainly can't cast any blame on this one. I also don't see it listed anywhere as an ashe County Cemetery, but maybe I'm overlooking something. IS there a Lewis Cemetery in either Ashe or in Grayson? If so, which place? And does anyone know if there are any Littles in it? The particular cemetery I'm talking about has more stones reading "Little" than those reading "Lewis." I'd be happy to share the photos (names, dates, etc.) from there with anyone who is interested in it. Many thanks in advance!
