Sue Dotson [email protected] Crissie V. Anderson, 92 Crissie V. Anderson, 92, of Independence, died Sunday, May 18, 2003, at Grayson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Independence. She was the widow of Marion L. Anderson. She was born Dec. 26, 1910, in Mouth of Wilson, the Fox Community, to James Leff and Mary Darnell Brewer. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Anna Lee and Platt Hendrix of Independence; two sisters, Polly Testerman and Gincy Cox, both of Independence; two grandchildren and a spouse, Mike Hendrix of Independence and Cathy H. and Charlie Wright of Baywood; a great-granddaughter and spouse, Tabatha and Dave Johnson of Independence; a great-great-grandson, Levi Johnson; and two step-great-grandchildren and a spouse, Jenny and Stacy Roberts and David Wright. A funeral was held Tuesday at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home with burial in the Grubb's Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. Fred E. Jennings officiated.
