He is the son of Wm Sullivan & Susannah Powers. Lewis is the older brother of my g grandfather, David Sullivan. Lewis and David had other siblings named: Jordan; Shadric; Martin; Phoebe; Amos; and Wesley J. Sullivan. According to the 1880 census of Ashe Co, Piney Crk, Lewis Sullivan (age 43) was married to Phebe Sturgill and had two daughters named Vivalina and Nancy C.. I can't find him in the 1900. Then in the 1910 census of Grayson Co, VA, Wilson Crk Dist., Pond Mountain Rd--there is a Lewis Sullivan age 74 (m2) married 12 yrs to a Lucinda unknown, age 53--is this the same Lewis ? Does anyone know who the children are by either of his wives or who they married ? What was Lucinda's maiden name ?
