    1. Re: [VAGRAYSO] WILCOX RESEARCH
    2. The 1880 Wythe County federal census shows Washington, siblings, and mother listed under the family of Emory Gray and Mary Wilcox being listed as his sister. If you will accept attachments I'll be happy to send the census image along. Washington was the son of James W. Wilcox and Mary E. Gray. Confusion exists on whether Washington was born in Washington, IN or in Wythe or Grayson Counties, VA. Washington was born about 29 Jun 1870. I am looking for any documentation, birth certificate, census that shows he was the son of James and Mary. Washington's daughter, Grace my grandmother) was born in Fries (Stevens Creek) VA about 1894. Is there a historical society in Grayson County that could possibly help and, if so, could anyone provide their postal and/or email address? Thanks.
