Sue My brickwall for the Powers family is Grayson/Montgomery. I know they were there in then Montgomery 1782 through 1809 but their origins and spouses have eluded the records on line. Does the 1870 Annotated Census list the families that are NOT IN the 1870 Census? I would really appreciate a look up for Powers/Power or the source of purchase of the Annotated 1870 Census. Known some head of households are David Powers, Peter Powers, and Mary Powers but when do they first appear on the rolls? Some records may be recorded as Bauers or Bowers. David's land certificate mentioned "Wallen's Bottom" and Boagh's Creek which cannot be found today. Thanks Janet
